Regions include:

Cowichan Valley - Best suited to cool-climate whites like Pinot Gris and Ortega, as well as Pinot Noir.

Lake Erie, North Shore

Niagara Peninsula - The wine region is divided between the low-lying lands around historic Niagara-on-the-Lake and the higher area of the Niagara Escarpment. Both are known for flavorful wines produced by the hot summers and stony soil, especially icewine.

Prince Edward County - The weather is cooler in Prince Edward County, so they produce cooler-climate wines

Naramata Bench

Nova Scotia - One of the coolest areas in the world to produce wine. It has three distinct regions--the Annapolis Valley, Malagash Peninsula and LaHave River Valley

Okanagan - This valley features hot, dry days and cool nights. Throughout the region there are good growing conditions for everything from cool-climate whites to big, bold, warm-climate reds.  Most of British Columbia's more than 160 wineries are located here. Specializing in Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Bordeaux-style blends.  But also feature Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Chasselas.
